Vacations at last! On our farm you will spend your holidays in a relaxing atmosphere: cozy, individually tailored to you and, if you want, just like home.
Our farm carries quite some history in its bones. It was first mentioned back in the 14th century. We are situated in a quiet, rural area, on all sides surrounded by our own orchards and vineyards and located on the sunny site of the valley of the river Etsch/Adige near the beautiful and vivid historic city Meran/Merano. The center of our village, Algund/Lagundo can be reached quite easily by taking a short 5 minute walk. The closest bus stations are located immediately next our house.
No matter what you have planned for your vacation, here you are at the right place. The Traterhof is the perfect starting point for all your vacation plans. Go for a hike on the mountains, explore historical cities and villages with mediterranean flair, take a bike ride along the river Etsch/Adige, relax in our herb garden while enjoying the sun and take your time to savor South Tyrolean delicacies, specialties and culture.

Our four vacation apartments are unmistakable, none equals the other: All of them are cozily furnished and fully equipped. They all consist of a living room with a kitchen, either one or two bedrooms, bathrooms with showers as well as either a balcony or a loggia. All of them offer a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, the orchards in the valley, the neighboring villages and the city of Meran/Merano.
Additionally, we also offer accomodations in a lovely designed double room with wooden furniture made out of swiss stone pine. This double room comes with breakfast included in the price.
No matter if you want to spend your vacation as a couple or with family and friends, we have space for all your loved ones and will find flexible solutions for every situation.
If you would like to have breakfast in your apartment, we will gladly bring you fresh bread in the mornings and deliver it to the front door of your vacation apartment. Of course we also offer a lavish breakfast which you can enjoy in our wood paneled sitting room, a traditional Tyrolean stube.
Aditionally, we also offer the breakfast as a breakfast basket.
All of our guests receive the Südtirol GuestPass Algund free of charge. This is a special extra providing you with a number of advantages, for example the use of all public transportation for free. This includes busses, trains and some selected cablecars. Additionally, the card also gives you free entry into many different museums across all of South Tyrol as well as reduced admission into sports and recreational facilities.
As you spend your time exploring the wonders of South Tyrol via free public transportation, your car patiently awaits you in our parking area.
Explore our apartments and experience a little taste of the view on Meran/Merano, the surrounding mountains and the valley, that our vacation apartments here on the sunny side of the valley offer.
The lavish breakfast and extensive with fresh bread, homemade jams, breakfast eggs freshly laid by our own chickens, yogurt with fruit, cheeses and cold cuts and many more good things, depending on the season, is served in our stube, a traditional and cosy pine wood paneled sitting room.
Daily price for the breakfast:
Persons from 14 years and older: 14 €
Children between 6 and 14 years of age: 9 €
Upon request we will prepare a breakfast basket for you, which you can enjoy either in your apartment or outside in our garden area. Price upon request.
Of course, we will also gladly bring you freshly baked bread from the bakery in the village in the mornings.

Children can stay at our farm for free until their 6th birthday. The price is reduced until their 14th birthday.
There are additional sleeping possibilities in every vacation apartment. A second bedroom can also be booked. Price upon request.
Pets are allowed upon request for a daily price of 6 €. Please be aware, we do have free-range chickens, roosters, Indian running ducks and a cat running around on our farm.
2,10 € per night and person starting from 14 years of age.
Cash (up to 4.999 €), bank transfer, non-transferable check indicating the beneficiary.
Something can always come up and the longed-for vacation has to be postponed.

A real feel-good vacation.
Welcome! So happy to have you here. We are your hosts, Annelies and Hans Siller. Our large family is made up of three generations that live here, together with chickens, roosters and rabbits, on the Traterhof.
Our family has been able to call this farm our home for around 200 years now. During this time we always stayed true to our main passion, agriculture. Today we cultivate apples and wine and we do this with a lot of joy and dedication. We welcomed the first guests on our farm at the beginning of the 1950s and we are very glad that many of our guests can be counted as our regulars and friends. We are looking forward to maybe also count you among that number sometime soon!
